Teen Driver’s Education

Alpharetta Driving School offers a variety of Teen Driver’s Education courses that range from the Traditional Program with 30 hours in the classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training to the Expert Program with 30 hours in the classroom and 20 hours of behind-the-wheel training. Students must fill out a pre-evaluation form prior to their first driving lesson to help us better assess their strengths and weaknesses while driving. In addition to the benefits of learning from a licensed instructor, students can receive insurance discounts of 10-20% and a $150 tax credit.

Alpharetta is a full-service facility that will teach you safe driving techniques, as well as traffic laws and regulations.

We offer Behind-the-Wheel Driver Training, Classroom Driver’s Education and Online Driving Classes.  All of our driver training vehicles are licensed by the Department of Driver Services and come equipped with an extra brake and mirror (on the passenger side), as well as student driver signs. Lessons range from one hour driver evaluations to over 20 hours of behind-the-wheel driver training.

Georgia State Law requires persons charged with DUI, DWI, BUI and other offenses to attend a DUI School (also known as DUI Class or a Risk Reduction Course) such as this one before a driver’s license can be reinstated.  People can also take this course to potentially have a court fine or sentence reduced, or to increase their awareness of high risk choices related to alcohol and drugs.

This 6-hour course teaches students how to drive safely and responsibly by reviewing the basic rules of the road and covering many important Georgia highway laws. People can take this class to have their license reinstated, have points on their license reduced, potentially have a court fine reduced or a ticket dismissed, or even receive insurance discounts. The 6-hour Defensive Driving Course is certified by Georgia’s Department of Driver Services and is often required by Georgia courts.
